He's got no interest in trying to talk her out of something so important to her ... but it's not like it's an easy thing for someone in his position to accept, considering all the risk. There's some part of this that reminds him of coming up second behind his exes' priorities too, though.
That part is a little harder for him to take.
"Yeah, I get it darlin'. This is something you gotta do." He purses his lips and runs his fingers through his hair. "I'm just at a loss for how else I can help."
